Leopold Bros. Malted Oats is produced with carefully selected USDA organic oats, certified by Oregon Tilth.
Traditionally germinated on the floor, Leopold Bros. Malted Oats retain husks to enable normal lautering procedures. When used as 5% of the grist, malted oats will enhance foam and mouthfeel for any beer style. When used as up to 20% of the grist, they produce a silky texture for stouts or porters, and can contribute to the hazy appearance of juicy IPAs.
