Formerly known as Terroir Liquid Oak Tannin. TERR increases the structure and mouth feel, and enhances the hint of smokey character typical of a heavy char toast barrel. Not a stock item, available as special order. Please inquire.
TERR is used primarily to add structure and mouthfeel to white and red wines. Because the tannins in TERR are already polymerized, they add more softness rather than harshness from a typical tannin addition. It will increase the “earthy” tone of the wine. Reduces sulfur component by oxidation of ethanethiol and the combination with thiols-polyphenols.
Tannin Content: ~100 g/liter
